Blaring for an escape
It was herself she was searching for
In a maze, like a cage
She could never find circumvention
Pushing out the world around her
While tearing up her inside
When you fill your life with secrets and lies
There’s not much room left for pride
The whether changed, as did her mind
She soon grew excessively cold
An arm stretch away
But she could never grab a hold
Of warmness now, what she truly desired
Waiting for her around the corner
Where past and future met
It was only just a blur
A story never learned
