A Story Untold

Deep into the mirror lies a reflection of an ignorant mind

Another member of the clockwork prison term passes

Yet time never flows

This and every day, same continuous play

Every evening just as bold

The bird’s always searching for its prey

But the prey’s hiding now, prepared for the hunt

There’s no reason to stick around here

When they’ll never have a common front

Like a blizzard to one’s teeth, society has never felt so cold

Italic statement signed -best seller, a story untold

Suchlike the lives of a struggling million

A war with not much left to pay

The pages fly like the birds’

Last starving night and slowly fold away

Struggling to save body but an escape route’s hard to find

In the head it’s safe to hide

As we grab a hold of what’s left of our mind
