ABSTRACT POEMS

20 CHILDREN
They were all so young.
Their song not sung.
Their story not told.
It never did unfold
Never did they get old.
Never again,
they will their parents, get to hold.

Who will never grow
All the things,
they'll never know
All the things,
they'll never do.
So true. Families so blue.
All the people who never knew
They never grew.

Never have children of their own.
Never have a chance to be grown
They'll never have a life.
Never the chance to be see
a husband or a wife.

All the things they'll never try.
All the families left to cry
All the families left to ask why.
Why they did have to die
