THE HOUSE ON THE HILL

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

It is really a thrill.
It is haunted.
It gives a fright.
A story told every Halloween night.
Everybody in the town does know.
We are all told not to go.
Stay away.
That's what everybody does say.
A home, we are told to leave it alone.

There are a lot of sounds, going on
They go all night until the dawn.
Especially Halloween.
Lights can be seen.
I think it's just a story.
A story meant to scare.
I don't really think there's anything there.

Everybody does no.
I am going to go.
I am going to see.
It is very important.
I will wait until a quiet day.
I will go on my way.
Do not want to go at night.
That will be a fright.
Though, that will be alright.
