STUCK IN CHICAGO BECAUSE OF THE SNOW

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

Cancelled is my fight.
I really have a fright.
This is gojng to be a fight.
A long night before the day.

Stuck in Chicago because of the snow.

Am I going to go anywhere because of the snow? No.
I see it falling from the sky. It makes me cry.
It's piling up fast on the ground. All this time has passed.
At the airport's where I will be found.
I just wait. This I really hate.

Stuck in Chicago because of the snow.

Not tonight, this situation's not bright
There is a very major delay,
This, despite, all the money I did pay.
Midway and O'Hare, the staff don't care.

Stuck in Chicago because of the snow

I'll have to spend the night.
A long night until the light.
I really have a fright.
It's going to be a fight for space.
Nobody's got a happy look on their face.

Stuck in Chicago because of the snow.

I'll be sleeping on the floor. A fact I can't ignore. I listen to the roar.
It's a fact, all the hotels are packed.
The terminal is full.
This holiday's not going my way. Christmas time's not fine.
Christmas day, a waiting game I play.

Stuck in Chicago because of the snow.
