1. people there may be tempted to commit suicide. We should think why that is. Because the boredom of it can drive people crazy. Also, the realization that they are NEVER going to get out of there. If anybody wants to try this, simply stay in a room and do nothing for an hour. You will be amazed at how quickly you go nuts.
2. This option is cheaper than the death penalty. Something for governments with budget issues to consider.
3.. What if the wrong guy is executed? We dont like to think of that. We like to think that our system is perfect. However, that has happened in Texas at least twice. We can only imagine how many other times it may have happened. Why, because the lawyers that are usually assigned to death penalty cases are not the best lawyers. Things can slip through the cracks. When somebody's life is at stake, things cannot slip through the cracks.
