I SEE HER

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

I see her every day on the train.

In the hot, in the cold.

In the sun, in the rain.

              In all seasons.

               I see her.

              She's really pleasing me, see.

              She's really teasing me, see.

She flirts with me, with her skirts.

             I see her.

              She sits in her seat.

              She's really neat.

              She's a treat.

She, from her head to her feet,

                I see her.

It's true, every day I observe.

I'm trying to get up the nerve to talk to her.

I want to talk to her.  I want to walk with her.

         I see her.

I'm so shy.  I want to catch her eye.

It makes me want to scream and shout.

I want to ask her out.
