I SURVIVED

Folder:
ABSTRACT POEMS

    I went across the ocean.

    Miles and miles.  No smiles.

I went across the seas.  I just want you to see.

My hands and feet touched the sand.

I just want you to understand.

    I will never face defeat.

I, got lost in the storm.  Miles from the norm.

The ship in the seas tossed.

This went on day after day after day.  I knew this was

   the way.

I survived the ocean.  I survived the commotion.

The dark night.  There was no light.  It was not bright.

I survived the swells.  I did well.  I survived

   the squalls.

   I did not fall.

I went across the plains.  I did not go insane.

    There were tornados.

We are all survivors if we can just keep the 'want to' alive and well.
