DEPRESSED IN BURLINGTON

Folder:
ABSTRACT POEMS

              Nobody calls her on

                   the phone.

               Nobody comes to her home

              She feels really alone.

                   There's no fun

                     in Burlington.

She sits in her rocking chair.

                      forward and back.

                    A life sorely does lack.

Day after day.  Is this the way.

It's all the same.  You can go insane.

                                         Nowhere.

                                            She never talks.

                                             She never walks.

                              Nobody comes to her door.

                                 A feeling she can't ignore.
