                 MIRAGE

She came, and then was gone.

Like the dew before the dawn.

Like the night before the light.

                  She was out of sight.

Maybe, She's not real.  it's just the way I feel.

        A creation from my imagination.

A thought in my head.  I should go to bed.

She came, and then she did go.  Like sun to the snow.

Before the sun, after the moon.  Will she be back soon?

Where did she go?  I don't know.

All the people I tell.  They say I don't feel well.

They don't believe.  They say them, I try to deceive.

Gone as the sun sets in the west.

My heart sinks in my chest.

I looked, I thought I saw her face.

But, there was nothing but empty space.

            A very cool spot.

I really liked her a lot.
