The county fair.
There is a bear there.
Do I dare to see the bear?
The bear is in a lair.
Do I dare to enter the lair of the bear at the fair?
The mayor.
The mayor is sitting in a chair, and will greet anybody who dares to enter the lair of the bear at the fair.
I might get a scare.
I might get a scare, but I want to greet the mayor, sitting in a chair, and who will greet anybody who dares to enter the lair of the bear at the county fair.

There might be a pair of bears.
