MY PARTY

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

Tonight, you don't want to be tardy to my party.

Tonight, a better time, a sweeter than a lime time, my

  party you could'nt buy.

Tonight, you can bring a date, and stay late, a party great, that's no lie.

I would sure shed a tear if you were not here.

It's my party.  Yes, it's my party.

My dear everybody in the city is here; it would be

a pity if you were not.

Everybody in this town is around, it would make me down,  if you were not around too.  OO.

      I would be upset if on you, other things too hold;

say grr!  be cold, and say burr!

If you do not come, I'll feel dumb.  I'll ask why.

  I'll cry and ask why.

I'll like I want to die.  I'll cry boo hoo too.

It's my party.  Yeah, my party.

There will be cake, dancing, prancing, romancing.

A new friend or two you can make.

It will be better than eating chocolate cake.

Yes, coming to my party will not be a mistake.

Yes, coming to my party will be the best move you make.

It's my party.  Yeah, my party.

You will be able to groove; you can get your groove on until the dawn.

You can dance on the lawn.

Hun, you will never want to up come the sun, you will want to run from it, and the fun to end.

You will want your time to extend.

Yes, nobody will be still, it will be a thrill.

It's my party.  Yeah, my party.

It's my party.  Yeah, my party.
