GET OUT

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

All you did was act like

                   a mouse.

Of house and home, you ate me out.

I would much rather be alone.

I can't even give my dog a bone.

Get out of my house.  Get out of my life.

I thought you were my wife.

You took my credit cards, nothing left but shards.

My guard, I should not have let down.

My yard, you totally mowed.  Oh no.

            You took my money, honey.

            You took all my dream.

            Was that your scheme?

Get out of my house.  Get out of my life.

I thought you were my friend.

             This is the end.

The story that you loved me.  I bought.

I see.  My dream, my story, has turned into

a nightmare.  All blood and gory.

I eee.  With lies, it was frought.

All the people who told me not to fall for you,

             I fought.

Get out of my house.  Get out of my life.

                This is the end.

My life.  My heart.  You can no longer bend.

My soul to you.  I wanted to lend.

Inside my head, it feels like a loud gong.

It was a perfect love song.

      What went wrong.
