I FORGET HER NUMBER

Folder:
COUNTRY POEMS

I met a girl last night at a dance.

    I loved what she said.

It sent throughts through my head.

For me, she did have the hots.

You see, she wanted to take a chance on me.

         I don't have her number.

I saw her again later at a bar.

She said we could really go far.

She said she wanted to see my soon.

A date under the stars and the moon.

          I don't have her number.

She said we could take a cruise.

         I'm singing a blues song.

         Her number I did lose.

        So, her I cannot call.

It's worse than holiday shopping at the mall.

Oh, I don't have her number.

Yeah, I don't have her number.
