APPALACHIA

ABSTRACT POEMS

I got home.  I'm no longer alone.

So long on the road.  I carried a really heavy load.

When I'm gone from you, it's true.

It's a long night before the dawn.

               Appalachia.

            My appalachia.

I missed you see, everywhere I did go.

I want to know, did you miss me.

             The mountains and the trees.

             The fresh, clean air.

             About that, I really care.

             The breezes.

          The trees, the leaves.

          The animals.

you feel to appalachia as I do toward the N.Y.Adirondacks. Yes they have the calling one can not ignore nor totally explain to another but it's there nonetheless
