CHILDREN AND VIOLENCE

We force-feed our children an intense diet of violence.  Violence in TV, movies, video games.

Also,

we sell a complete, complex variety of violent toys.

Toystores sell violence, because violence sells.

This goes on all day and all night.

It starts with cartoons for very young children.

Yep, it goes in all day and all night.

We do this and then watch as children play war games.  Sometimes, they get guns and kill each other.

Teenagers do the same things, as do adults.

They do not think about anything; they shoot.

They kill each other over everything.

They kill each other over anything.

Why do we wonder why we as a society are where we are today?  Really, why do we wonder?  We already have the answers.  Maybe, we do not want to see the truth.  Maybe, we do not want to acknowledge the truth.  The truth can hurt and the truth can kill.  We already have everything we need to know.  We want to say that we do not know that we know.

What if we changed the media?

What if we changed the world?

Whar if we changed the media to be

obsessed with peace.

obsessed with creative solutions to problems.

Children would be obsessed with creative solutions and peace.

Children would be obsessed with that.

  Children follow the leader.

They love that game.  They are excellent at that game.

We need to make sure that they are following a good leader.

What if we changed the media?

What if we changed the world?
