TRUCK DRIVER
As a boy, I loved playing with truck toys.
See, they were always fun for me.
Gave this boy a lot of joy.
This was true, always what I wanted to do.

I remember learning how.
I just said wow.
Going to school.  This was so cool.

I remembering all the tests.  Really wanted to be the best.

The class, I really wanted to pass.
The first a truck inside; a joy this boy could not hide.

I love listening to the radio,
The other trucks and where they go.
Also, the cops.
See, don't want me to stop.
Are they near o far.

 Interstate.
  I drive a fast rate.
  State to state.
Great.
Families see.  Children,  Moms and dads.
I beep the horn.  They are glad.
My foot on the gas.  All these cars, love to pass.
 Over the limit, cops hate.
There is a ticket with a big cost.
  A lot of money lost.
The cops seem never to stop.
  Police seem never to cease.

I have a deadline see, that's ok by me.
A deadline is fine.
A date when the freight is due.  True.
They do hate when I'm late.  See, I try not to be.
I get to stop and rest; that's the best.

I love getting a meal.  Good, I feel.
I love getting a bite to eat.  Neat, a treat.
I could sleep in my truck.  There is a bed.
I love getting a room at a hotel o motel.  Swell.
A nice, comfy, bed.  All the thoughts in my head.
I watch TV see, so fun for me.

I pay, but that's ok.  Price nice.
I drive winter soring summer fall.
Rain is ok.  Not a pain,  Snow, oh no.
Seasons all

  She was alone.
  She, see, far, from home.
  She, on the road.
She had a heavy load.
See, she, me, was glad to see.
  We had fun.
I never wanted it to be, see, done.
  All we did do, true,
I never wanted to be through.
She see, wanted to see my truck.
Said I might have some luck.
  The thoughts in my head.
Was thinking of her in bed
I showed her true, what everything did do.
How it all did go, she wanted to know.
