STUDENT TEACHERS AND INTERNS
I have student teachers. I have interns.
I get them involved right away, their first day.
I do with the students and them,
a meet and greet. Treat. Neat.
They start out slow.
They find they way. I tell them they'll be ok.
I love watching them grow. All the things they get to know.
I give them fun things to do, true.
I let them do more and more. The world of teaching, they explore.
They can open the door. They can explore the teaching world. Their wonder story to be told.
I remember see, when it was me.
I hate sometimes, when they say goodbye.
I cry.
