She, see, took a chance on me.
She, see, decided to dance with me.
All day, together, we did stay.
All night, a delight.
We stayed up late. Great, really, great.
We sat on the dock.
We just talked.
The dock in the lake.
No, not a mistake.
She was
the prettiest teen,
I had ever seen.
We held hands,
each other, we truly did,
understand.

Hard on our hearts
when we had to break apart.
We loved each other so much.
We agreed to keep in touch.
We promised on the moon,.
we would see each other again, soon.
