THE CITY
My dad went the other day.
He, see, about it, had
a lot to say.
He brought me a toy.
He really gave this boy some joy.
He brought me a book. I could not wait to take a look.
The buildings were so tall.
'He, see, did look at them all.
There were so many.
The streets were so neat.
There are were many people.
There were so many crowds. It was really loud.
There were cars, buses, trucks, and more.
They were hard to ignore.
This city, my dad did love to explore.
There were, thankfully,
parks and green spaces.
He loved seeing all the happy faces.
There was a subway too.
