I'm thinking single for life.
A whole life, no wife.
My parents pressure beyond measure.
They want me to find somebody it's true.
Yes, that's what they want me to do.
Single and alone.
Nobody calls me on the phone.
Nobody comes to the door.
This fact, impossible to ignore.
Single and alone
It gets inside uour mind.
No peace will you find.
You see, will never find peace.
The feelings dont cease.
The thoughts don't stop.
You want to pop.
Single and alone.
It gets inside your brain.
Can drive you insane.
All the couples you see on TV.
All the couples in your neighborhood. They're all doing so good.
All the couples you see on the street. So sweet. So neat.
Single and alone.
You hate sleeping alone
in your home.
Every night in bed.
The thoughts in your head.
Single and alone.
i confess, it can cause you to be depressed.
A confession, it can lead to you, it's true,
a state o depression,
A very fast rate.
That'll you hate.
Single and alone.

Times are changing.. no one
Times are changing..
no one need to wait alone..
but to go out and meet people
in library writing groups
or hiking parties
or 1000 other ways
