I want you to be proud of me.
I want you to scream so loud for me.
There's our boy, who gives us so much joy.
There's our son, look at all he can do.
There's our son, look at all he's been through.
There's our son, look at all he has done.
I try so hard.
I cry so hard.
See, I think you'll never, see, be proud of me.
At least, the way I want you to be.
