THE SANDBAR
The sandbar.
You can only get there by boat.
It's way, way, too far
to swim or to float.
A small strip of sand in
the middle of the sea.
It's really, really, exciting for me, see.
It's a really, really, neat treat.
Dad always makes me glad.
When he does say, sand bar today?
Do you want to go?
I always say yes and not no.
There's usually, not a lot of people to be found.
Most of the time , see, it's just my family and me.
I love the peace and tranquility.
I love, to build a castle, or dig in the sand, with my hands .
The water so fast goes deep from shallow.
I love swimming in the deep water all around.
The sand bar is where I can be found.
A great place, a great space.
A great part of the day to spend.
Hate when the time does end.
You cant stay there too long.
The tide is so strong.
The sandbar is only there, a few hours.
The tide has so much power.
In the tide does flow.
The sea fully covers the sand bar below.
Away the sand bar does go.
