                I can hear 

                the church bells ringing.

                I can hear

                the people singing. 

      On a day so good

      in my childhood neighborhood.

      This is a day I thought I'd never see,

      I never thought it would happen to me.

      All these people who I have known, throughout my life.

      They are here to see me marry a wife.

      All these people through my life, I have known.

      They have watched how I have grown.

                I look down the aisle,

                and see on everyone's faces.

                the smiles.

                I can see the tears in my parents' eyes.

                They are tears of joy for their boy.
