You never judged me
All though
I was real bad
You made me feel better
When you said,
“Don’t worry every teen thinks that way.”
And when I needed a mother
You were there
Not to judge
Just to understand
ME
And help me through
Getting over
When you leave
I don’t think I will ever
I will always remember you
I will never forget you
Just when I think about you
A tear will always run
Or I will just bawl
It all out of me
I don’t know why
It affected me so much
But it did
Just because of that little short time
I had with you
Just brought me closer
At church
Until now
I just thought of you
As just another face in the crowd
But now you’re a special face
In the crowd
