Dreams, hope, wishes,

These are things we base our future on.

Should we do this?

For the world in which we live,

Is forever changing more so each day than the last.

So why dream when we base our dreams on today,

Yet tomorrow it may not be possible.

We put hope on things today,

Knowing they will change day to day.

Wishes, we constantly wish for one thing or another,

Knowing we'll never have these things.

Dreams, hope, wishes,

Why do we have these things when the things we dream, hope, and wish for will never happen?
