Help me please,

Help me out of the darkness,

Into the light so I can see again.

May I call you my friend?

Can I trust you to help?

Will you not see fit to tell me I'm going deeper in the darkness?

Or will you misguide me to be certian I do?

I'm going deeper and deeper in the darkness,

It seems as though every time I might see the light,

Someone snatches it away.
