Today you weren't there and I wish you were.
I laughed. I explored. I had an adventure. It was good.
I needed today and the only thing I'd change?
You'd be there.
If you could be there, I'd do it all again.
There was a castle, I'd have given anything to wander with you.
Aimlessly, just a walk, a talk, arm in arm, lost in the woods around it.
The world didn't exist, didn't matter, there was nothing and no one.
Just me and my thoughts.
My thoughts of you.
We could've danced on the ramparts,
We could've chased through the trees,
We could've wasted hours happily, oblivious to everything,
Belonging only to each other and time wouldn't have existed.
But you weren't there. And I wish you were
