The girl sits up on the hill silently
Watching the boy from afar
Wishing for just one simple touch
The golden light shields her
From everything and him
The bodies lay everywhere
Covering every inch but a simple spot
Around her and the hill
Mutilated and dismembered bodies,
Blood soaking the ground
The girl yawns slightly
The smell of blood that she should smell
Isn't there.
The light keeps her detached in a way
A way of imprisonment
The girl sighs and closes her eyes
A tear trails her cheek gently
She is protected from worldly harm
But some harm can't be protected against
She's lonely...
She loves what she can not have
She's the only light.
