Be nice and play fair,
Share your toys, and don’t pull hair.
These were our kindergarden rules,
From so long ago,
When everyone was a friend, not a foe.
When hearts were never broken and needed time to be mended,
And friendships never ended.
It was a place that greeted you with a smile everywhere you went,
And where, when someone bumps into you, it was never meant.
It was kindergarden, the happiest place a kid could go,
But sadly, kindergarden, we outgrow.
And we are placed in a world full of heartaches, betrayal, deception and men.
Oh god, what I would give, to go back to Kindergarden.
