Embarrassment

Somewhat poems

An increase in number

A decrease in stress

An easy out clause

when its complete I’m able to rest

Reminders of unsolved problems

I knew that intriguing boy saw them

As I was waiting for him to ask

The toxic misleading frames did pass

He said so much with his eyes

No words spilled out

Inside I released shameful cries

Still no words spilled out

His expression formed an understanding

He knows that life’s demanding

So he held me with his look

Then the ridged ground shook

The structure of comfort fell upon me

At that moment I was happy.

Author's Notes/Comments:
