The Beauty Of The Forest

Stamping the leaves of autumn all sorts of colors
They fall from the weight of paint
Even rain can't wash away the beauty
Then the greedy ground takes what it once did create
Now a sight of lonesome in the forest
The clouds will follow short behind
Leaving drops of white to punish the ground
Making soil for the sun hard to find
The trees shiver from the heavy winds
Pushing at the clouds to leave
Workers of the suns great army
Now nothing to cover the ground
The sun can finally breathe
White on the ground turns to water
And the shivering trees are left to rest
Beauty again is revealed this day
You come walking to the forest
Eyes glaring at the job before you
Hands covered with wet paint
