Shadow of Time
Time flows we all know that
Tik-tok Tik-tok it won't stop
Its feared by the devil himself
does not yield to kings or emperors
Its such a powerful and mysterious thing yet it casts a shadow
the shadow stretches on to our lives
we miss the past
we regret the past
we believe our happiness once lied in our past
we do nothing
we only watch the shadow of time grow
not able to get out of the shadow
unwilling to go out of the shadow
but humans live on
sometimes foolishly
sometimes stubbornly
we all live in the shadow of time
