Dreamscapes
I woke up for a few seconds in darkness
In those shadows I thought about you
as I drifted off to sleep I couldn't quite
distinguish reality from dreamscape
so now everything was lucid,
I felt as if somebody got in bed with me
I could feel the weight of the bed shift,
The blankets pull back,
Two opposing temperatures clash on flesh,
The person held me tight and I was scared at first,
I started feeling around and noticed familiar
bodily landmarks and I knew who it was and
for a few seconds everything was ok
It was when I woke up that I realized
it was a nightmare
