Weather makes me think of her
the rain on the roof is steady
like her breath
the soft tap of droplets
like laughter when we met
late night after late night
getting to know our ins and outs
The rain grows louder and harder
until its now our panting
running miles around town
trying to achieve premium physiques
a slow grow of thunder
Akins to her anger
caused by my instilled ignorance
at subjects unlearned
and stubbornous adjourns itself
it still makes me nervous,
the weather
the god damn weather these days
