I'm made of crystalline shards
And toxic smoke's pure intention,
From the remnants of broke glass
Or bloody aftermath needled teeth,
From here we look like shepherds
Guiding ourselves to sleep,
When the morning comes we'll lasso
The last of our courage to strangle it
To snuff it completely
When the last man stands
We sing brilliant
The adventures we've been through
Till the last drop of noise
Drips silent into tympanic feuds erupting,
Wish masters flip nickels
At the sea urchins feet
But misguided thumbs of hearts desires
Must surely never meet,
Thick black hats
Rimmed with velvet
Are stuffed with brains
In a substance lacking substance,
Thick fattened cats
Are sleek in aged silver
Being fed slivers of fish
Caught surely from the pilfered,
Eating with sustained hunger
At the tables of terrible time
Until the rapture runs us over
And captures fortunes favored liar
