( Street life poem)

I watched boys turn to soldiers 

Girls becoming mothers 

Drugs taking over cause people can't deal with struggle 

A lot is going on in the place we call home 

Seen friends become enemies and enemies get along 

The more drama the more partying more partying more violence everybody wants peace but them wars some died in 

So retaliation comes second nature in the slums and kids dropping out of school cause they think getting a education is dumb

Couldn't tell you who to blame cause that's all they know 

I just pray they look over all that and try to reach they goals .
