The horse and the dog at the end of the world
The sun came up that morning over an earth that was devastated. All of the buildings had crumbled to the ground, all of the lakes, rivers, and oceans had dried up, and all of the people were gone. On lonely flat, endless plan you could see a lone horse walking in the distance. The horse walked over hard sand and dirt. All grass, trees, and plants were gone. Also in the distance, far away from the horse, there was a lonely Saint Bernard dog walking in the distance. The dog was injured and limped. The horse and dog approached each other. “Are you hurt badly?” asked the horse.
The dog said, “What happened to everything? Where is everyone? I was knocked out and fell unconscious?”
With a broken leg the dog travelled days without food and water , the horse had been eating a bit , but the dog was in desperate need for food . It started to rain and they were all wet and tired , the dog wanted to rest because he was way much more tired and injured than the horse , both of them started to look for a place to shelter, after hours of searching finally they found a cave, so they went inside, the horse worried about his only friend that was hurt and hungry! so he offered himself to search for food for them. the dog accepted and stay there, the horse took his way in the rain. after time the dog sleeping started to heard noises, when he opened his eyes he found that he wasnt alone, and that the one with him wasnt the horse... in fact it was a little monkey with a rare way of behaving, the money offered food to the dog in exchange for something, the monkey didnt want to tell the dog what he want for change, and he refused to accept because his friend the horse was risking himself out searching for food. the monkey insisted and insisted and put some fresh meet in front of the dog. the dog couldnt resist so he started to eat.
after hours of searching the horse finally found something to eat, he collected the food quickly and returned to the cave where his friend were waiting hungry for him. when he enter to the cave, he saw his friend laying on the floor without breathing.
