'The Stuff Of Dreams'-Cody's Poem

I bet he never thought,
that at the age of only 14 years,
he'd be given the opportunity,
to have a gem of all careers.
Its the stuff you read in books,
or only see on movie screens.
But it became the stuff of dreams,
for one young man in his teens.
Taken under the guiding wing,
of a burly biker dude,
this boy learned all the ropes,
of building choppers with attitude!
How many kids would get that chance,
to learn from the very best?
From the boss and his talented son,
Cody was put to the test.
He proved to them he had the knack
and even more so, the desire,
to learn all he could of this craft,
that burned in him like fire.
And with it came a stardom,
he never could have believed!
Fans and letters poured on in,
praising his work and all he's achieved.
Girls, screaming out his name,
running to meet him in a rush.
They giggle as he signs a picture,
causing him that boyish blush.
Who can say, at seventeen,
they've designed and built two choppers?
That since have been die-casted,
to the delight of viewing shoppers.
Who can say they've made their mark,
at such a tender age?
Or appearing on a hit tv show,
that's become all of the rage?
I think Senior did, so right by him,
giving Cody a chance to succeed.
He saw, in that bright young man,
a potential of very rare breed.
Yeah, its the stuff of dreams, all right.
And look just to where it has led.
He's hard-working, talented and famous,
and yet it doesn't seem to have gone to his head.
So Cody, you are a fine example,
for the young generation of today.
You've proven you don't need take the wrong path,
if your always looking in the right way!
