Bratz and Tickle Me Elmo.



I too have become

a fond recollection

in your toybox of memories,

pushed aside

for the latest craze.



I'm not a novelty fad,

to be tossed aside

when you are done

playing

and amusement has worn away.



I won't sit on any shelf,

collecting dust,

a long forgotten

favorite pastime.



Don't play me,

for you'll be hard-pressed

and long waiting

to find another version

as timeless as me!
