No one hears,

the silent screaming,

for their ears are deaf

to the pain of others

and closed off

to what they choose to ignore.



But the screams emit,

nonetheless



and are deafening

inside the soul

of one who cries out

in muted vain.



The silent screaming,

is the most powerful

and piercing sound,

reaching decibles,

beyond

the audible world-



and unresounding

in an incoherent universe

of discord.
