On Changing The Cat Litter

Funny, Ha, Ha My nose tells me the kitty's
have been quite busy again.
Its that time once more.
Not a favored task,
but one that needs doing
all the same,
lest the amonia odor
asphyxiate us.
Its a mechanical thing-
fresh liner, fresh litter,
hold my breath.
'Damn! But that's strong!'
'That's the last time I buy liver and cheese in savory sauces!'
I use to have a cat
that used the toilet.....
Gawd...right now,
I REALLY miss that cat!
Oh well,
its a shitty job,
but someone's gotta do it!
