Just like the finest crystal,
they sparkle in the light.
Suspended from the rooftops,
creating a mystical sight.
Resembling a precious diamond,
but cut by natures hand.
Decorating leafless branches,
all across the land.
Delicate as dainty glass,
so easily they crack.
Falling into the snow,
and leaving little tracks.
As the sun grows warmer,
they begin to drip.
Melting very rapidly,
the icicles loose their grip.
