Faith & Spirituality Some paths we take are long,
stretching for many miles.
Some lead us where we are going,
others take us on weary trials.
Many that we navigate,
have roadblocks in our way.
We need to follow detour signs,
so we don't wind up astray.
Some of them have signals,
telling us when to stop or go.
Sometimes we break down,
and then require a tow.
We usually look for shortcuts,
to make our journey light.
Or stay on only back roads,
with no one else in sight.
Often we get lost,
and lose all sense of direction.
But there's always that faithful road,
if we make the right selection.
Follow that road cautiously,
with no procrastination.
Its the pathway that leads to Heaven,
our most important destination.
