silver vehicle

in her drive way

is she,...home?

her dark hair up

and glasses on

saying oh hi

but not to me

though i stopped in my track anyways

the men she was with

are they her brothers?

friends?

colleagues?

or does she have a boyfriend?

is she dating?

she's looking... bigger

her pea coat  concealing her

and her lovely lovely voice

i heard all above the rest

i linger

walking, pacing to and fro back and forth south and north

not seeing

no! she's not talking with her

come and get me! will you come and get me

or just mention it

but it can't be her

and the two of them talking

i thought she had seen me, she must've

i was hunting how could she miss?

her arms, moving, is that the way i remember her picking up papers and pencils?

and that cute pink pen

it couldn't be it couldn't be

i've heard from her by now

is she really back in town

is it the way i look the way i'm dressed

maybe it's a relative,

she couldn't possibly look the exact same,...

i miss the ice cream

why has everything changed?

has she forgotten me?

does she even remember who i am?

would she recognize me at all?

i know i could never replace her

she was influence

she was impact

she was amazing
