Recipe For Football
Take a pitch of grass,
And some lines of white,
Add lots of chairs,
And some bright floodlights,
23 men,
In t-shirts and shorts,
Add a large round ball,
For my favourite sport,
Add goal posts and nets,
Cards of yellow and red,
A few screaming fans,
Waving scarves above their heads,
Add a referee's whistle,
And 2 managers that call,
These are the ingredients,
For a game of football!
