A Mother's Dream

There was a young woman,

Whos only dream was to sing,

To be famous,

Which she almost was,

Until one day,

She had a baby.

She had offers to sing,

In town counrty bands...

But she couldn't,

Because she was too busy...

Her one dream...

To sing, Was flushed down the drain...

Because of her baby.

She could have been so much more,

She could be famous,

And live well...

Like she wanted always to be.

But this little baby,

Made her dreams impossible.

Washed away her entire self being.

This baby grew, to be 15,

And not appretiate her mothers deeds,

Until that one night,

She heard her mothers voice,

On a casette tape,

Her voice was angelic,

So very unique,

The most beautiful thing,

She had ever heard.

She started to cry,

Because that girl,

Now knows that her mother,

Gave her entire self,

To raising her baby...

The girl who was once a baby,

Has realized she was the reason,

He mother could not be,

What she wanted to be...

A famous counrty singer...

And till this day,

This girl hates herself,

For ruining her mothers only dream!

This girl I know,

Because this girl is me.

Im sorry Mom, I'm sorry i took your life away.

I do appreciate everything you do for me,

And all the love you have given this family.

Im sorry I ruined your one,

And only dream...

To be famous..

But to me...

You'll always be famous.

I am your number one fan,

Thank-You for all you do for me,

And once again, Im sorry!

For taking away your dream.:(
