i was floating in a peaceful sea

rescued by a sinking ship



i was crying out my final plea

trying to escape this trip



i was drowning in a sea of guilt

rescued by a fractured heart



i was lost in all the walls i've built

trying not to fall apart



i was drifting in a sea of tears

rescued by a broken soul



i was screaming but no one could hear

only you can make me whole





i was falling in a sea of love







but you didn't rescue me.









so now, i drift..









alone, cold..









floating in a peaceful sea.....
