it doesnt matter anyway
i could cry myself to sleep
and then put on my own disguise
even though i'm dying inside

i could walk a thousand miles
and never get a glimse of what i would be like
without your love

i don't want them to care about me

i could stare in the mirror for hours
and it wouldn't ever change
i could let those tears roll down my face
and let fall right on the page
and only i would know
how it feels to be alone

i could write a thousand love songs
and not one of then would describe
how it feels to not have you by my side
