glancing, warily pacing

occasionally ceasing to stare

semi-sentiently absorbing vista

  panoplied conifers

………..languid maples

………………..peeling birch



interspersed random raked ground

granting glimpses of feldspar

..painted in oil

……….over melted lake silicon

………………..highlights rippling randomly



..muzak loon calls

…………bobwhite trills

………………….woodpecker opportunity knocks



a gentle hint of wind

..draws flannel close

…………leaf stir gently swirling

…………………whispers for the hearing



occasional creaks from nowhere

..insect whine

…………twig snap

…………………..echoing moose ruminations



scenic recollections gleaned cleanly

a rifle slowly lowers

from what can not be called a blind today

..what has been seen

…………will be carried out

…………………..infinitely more
